First launch
- 1Open
Open the file you downloaded and drag the Lupy icon into Applications.
- 2Start
Open Lupy from Applications. Because the version is signed, your Mac shows who made it; click Open.
- 3Connect
You connect the AI accounts you want to use. Lupy does nothing until you connect an account.
Updating
Lupy does not update itself; you install new versions yourself. When a new version is out, this page has a new link.
- Quit Lupy.
- Download the new version from this page.
- Open the file and drag the Lupy icon into Applications again.
- When your Mac asks, click Replace. Your settings and accounts stay as they are.
What you need
- A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later). macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later is required.
- When the phone app is out: an iPhone or iPad on iOS 17.5 or later.
- Accounts for the AI providers you want to use, such as Claude or Codex. You connect them yourself; Lupy does not open accounts for you.
If something goes wrong, write to Support.
